Our namesake, Richard C. Smith...a few short years before founding the company which bears his name.

The R.C. Smith Company was founded in 1965 by Richard C. Smith in the family garage and with simple woodworking equipment.

Today, we continue to be a family owned business, but reside in a 40,000 sq. ft. state of the art facility that utilizes a CAD (computer aided design) system to generate functional space designs and CAM (computer aided manufacturing) machinery that is capable of producing our products with accuracy to within .008”; about the thickness of a human hair!

We currently have over 3,000 installations in eight countries worldwide and take great pride in the products and services that we offer to our customers.
